Story of Janet Henry

Janet Gail Henry, 36, of the ‘Namgis First Nation was last seen in the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1997.

In the last year before she disappeared, Henry called her sister every day; the last message she left was on June 25, 1997.

Henry was known to have worked in the sex trade to support her drug and alcohol use, according to a 2012 report from the B.C. Missing Women Commission.
