Diane Mary Stewart, 42, was last seen leaving a New Year’s Eve party on foot in 1996, on the Penticton Indian Reserve, in British Columbia.
There was an extensive search but the mother of three was not found. Months later, on May 7, 1997, her body was located a few kilometers from where she was last seen.
An autopsy confirmed that Stewart had been murdered.
