Story of Deborah Sloss

Deborah Anne Sloss, 42, was found dead in the Toronto rooming house where she lived on July 29, 1997, after police responded to a 911 call.

Toronto police say there is no evidence that criminal activity played any part in Sloss’s death. However, her family says there were several discrepancies in the investigation.

They also allege police used hurtful labels to describe her after death.
