Betsy Owens, 15, was a sister to three girls when she vanished from Manitoba’s Pauingassi First Nation on Oct. 23, 1988.
The lead investigator for the missing persons, foul play suspected case works for the Winnipeg RCMP detachment 170 miles from the First Nation. He last visited the community during summer 2014, and family members do not know if there are leads in the case.
